About the
The Word Counter gives you a live count of words, characters, sentences and paragraphs as you type, along with reading time and speaking time estimates. It also surfaces the average word length and the count of unique words, which is what you need when a client specifies a limit and you want to know how far you are from it. Counting happens on every keystroke locally, so a 50,000-word document stays responsive.
